A heavyweight in online travel booking, Booking.com continues to diversify its offer in France. This is the meaning of the partnership concluded with the French CléVacances and its network of 13,000 labeled accommodations, including villas, apartments, gîtes or bed and breakfasts.
This agreement thus confirms the desire of Booking, which already offers some 160,000 accommodations in France, to better meet the expectations of its customers looking for “alternative” accommodation (excluding hotels). In the first quarter of 2022, their share reached 31% of nights booked worldwide on the platform, a figure that is constantly growing. At the same time, alternative accommodation represented 22% of the overall offer.
