Developed by Interior/Night, As Dusk Falls, which is available since yesterday on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC, presents itself as an interactive drama crossed with narration. Logical, since the British studio was founded by Caroline Marchal who worked for a long time as lead game designer at Quantic Dream, notably on Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. We remind you that the game follows the lives of two families for thirty years after a burglary turned tragic in 1998. The developers promise a story with multiple twists, the player’s choices obviously having an impact on the existence of the different characters.
But what the launch trailer particularly emphasizes is the singularity of the artistic direction which, it must be admitted, hits the mark.
