According to the study, conducted in 2019 among 1,070 people, 54% of respondents said they had already argued with their spouse about work during their holidays. In question, difficulty disconnecting professional imperatives during holidays, which can result in checking emails, or even answering them, or spending time on the phone with clients, etc. Of all the people interviewed, none said they had completely disconnected from work while on vacation. But it can also go much further: the survey indicates that 45% of those questioned had already traveled to their place of work during their time off on holiday.
This inability to let go would not only be harmful for the couple, but also for the well-being of the person concerned.
