Charmed is in mourning. The cult series from the late 90s mourns the death of one of its actresses.
The actress Rebecca Baldingbest known to fans for her role as Elise Rothman, died on Monday July 18, 2022 from cancer. She was 73 years old.
According to the American media, she died of ovarian cancer.
Discovery of the general American public thanks to her role as Carol David in the series soap in 1978, Rebecca Balding played between 2002 and 2006 Elise Rothmanwho was none other than the inevitable boss of Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano).
She had a strong and unique bond with the young witch, considering her in particular as the girl she would have liked to have had.
For the anecdote, Rebecca Balding had even already appeared in the series from 1998, but with a totally different character: that of Aunt Jackie.
Rebecca Balding also displays on her resume participations in Starsky and Hutch, Super Jaimie and Lou Grant, Matt Houston, The Man Who Falls, MacGyver or even Papa bricole, Seven at home and Beverly Hills 90210.
