What to expect from Creed 3 (or Creed III)? Little information is circulating on this new film in the Rocky spin-off saga.
Filmsactu took advantage of meeting Tessa Thompson on the promo of Thor Love and Thunder to ask him a question about Creed 3 announced for November 23, 2022 in the United States.
What to expect with Creed 3? “Has muscle and more muscle.laughs Tessa Thompson.Sweat too. More seriously, I am so happy and proud to participate once again in this adventure. Especially since it is the first film as director of Michael B Jordan. We were able to go where we weren’t expected and explore new horizons within this saga. I know the fans wonder all the more with the absence of Sylvester Stallone but the legacy of Rocky is present. He remains Creed’s mentor and role model. But it was time for Michael B Jordan to take off alone and impose himself in his franchise… Sylvester and Ryan Coogler (director of the first Creed since leaving to take care of Black Panther) were never far away“.
“There will always be a bit of Rocky in Adonis” comments Michael B Jordan, “but we wanted to build this story and this world around it from now on.”
Jonathan Majors (Loki, Lovecraft Country) will play Adonis Creed’s adversary.

In December 2018, Sylvester Stallone expressed his desire to see the heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder embody the son of Clubber Lang, main antagonist of Rocky 3 (1982). But this screenplay track seems to have been abandoned.
We do know, however, that Florian Munteanu, seen in Creed 2, resumes his role as Viktor Drago.

Creed 3 was filmed from January to April 2022 in Atlanta. The screenplay was entrusted to Zach Baylin, to whom we owe The Williams Method, which won Will Smith an Oscar.
