He goes from the floor to the jury table. Bilal Hassani will be back in the twelfth season of Dance with the starsnot to try again to win the trophy as a candidate but to note the performances of the celebrities who will chain rumba, quickstep and fox-trot during the next edition scheduled for the start of the school year on TF1, announced the channel via a press release this Friday.
The singer, who has just released a new single before the arrival of his third album in the fall, therefore succeeds Mr. Pokora and Shy’m in the list of personalities who have passed from the status of candidates to that of judges.
Chris Marques returns, not Karine Ferri
Bilal Hassani will not be the only newcomer to appear behind the jury table. At her side will intervene Marie-Agnès Gillot, finalist of the 15th Varna International Dance Competition in 1992. She was promoted to “Subject” in 1994, “First Dancer” in 1999 and was named “Etoile” on March 18, 2004, a first on a contemporary ballet. She made her official farewell to the Paris National Opera in March 2018 before appearing in the theater, in the cinema or on the Enfoirés stage. The dancer should be comfortable in her role since she has already been part of the jury of The best dance on W9.
Jean-Paul Gaultier and Denitsa Ikonomova will therefore not return for a second season. Chris Marques, the historical judge of the program, and François Alu, Etoile dancer of the Opéra national de Paris, will be back. The twelfth season of the competition will still be hosted by Camille Combal but Karine Ferri will no longer present the after party broadcast in the second part of the evening.
