Electronic Arts has confirmed that the Switch version of FIFA 23 will not introduce any of the new gameplay features or modes found in other versions of the game.
This year’s FIFA Edition for Switch will be the “Legacy Edition”, meaning it has the same gameplay features and modes as FIFA 22.
Changes to the Switch version will be limited to updated kits, clubs and squads from some of the best leagues in the world, plus the addition of top women’s club teams and some new stadiums, so don’t expect support for the new Ultimate Chemistry system, Hypermotion 2, or anything like that.
FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One.
