Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne expressed her anger this Friday, July 22, after the attack on three police officers, attacked by around fifty individuals in the Guillotière district (3rd), in Lyon, last Wednesday.
“It is absolutely necessary to punish these unacceptable behaviors”, assured Elisabeth Borne this Friday, three days after the attack on three police officers who were trying to arrest a man who had just stolen a necklace.
“It cannot go unpunished”

The Prime Minister assured that it was “absolutely able to punish” those who injured the police. “The means of investigation will be strongly mobilized and we absolutely want to be able to sanction these behaviors which are not acceptable”, she added.
“It cannot go unpunished, we must be able to react and act quickly”, continued Elisabeth Borne, affirming that “it is not tolerable to attack our police officers who are there to protect the population” .
According to the Alliance union, two and seven days of ITT were prescribed for two of the police officers.
