During the Marvel Animation panel, Marvel Studios’ X-Men 97 animated series was shown at Comic-Con 2022.
The X-Men are back, coming to Disney+ in Fall 2023. The animated series will explore new stories in the original series’ iconic ’90s timeline, featuring beloved characters like Professor X, Wolverine, Cyclops , Jean Grey, Jubilee, Rogue, Storm, Gambit, Magneto and many more. We learned that Magneto is the leader of the X-Men.
On the villain side, there are: Mister Sinister, Sebastian Shaw, Emma Frost, Calypso and Val Cooper.

X-Men ’97 is written by Beau DeMayo. A second season has been announced.
