It had been in the works for a few months, at least according to certain rumours. In April this year, the official website of the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) mentioned the nintendo-switch as the host platform for the game Tribes of Midgard. If since then we haven’t had much to eat, this type of listing is generally a good omen for the release of a game, as well as for ports.
For the title developed by Norsfell Games Inc. and edited by Gearbox Software, the “prediction” (which is anything but a simple prediction) of the ESRB turned out to be true: Tribes of Midgard was announced on nintendo-switch just a few days ago at the bend of the trailer announced for the third season of the game, entitled Inferno Saga : at the end of it, the logo of the hybrid machine of nintendo slipped between those of Xbox One and Series X|S, of Steam, of the Epic Games Store as well as consoles playstation 4 and 5.
The game will therefore be available on theeShop of the nintendo-switch since the August 16, 2022. The price will undoubtedly be set at €19.99, as on the other platforms. For now, the sheet eShop is not yet available on the official website of Nintendo France.
Tribes of Midgard season 3 trailer
As a reminder, Tribes of Midgard is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a viking protecting a magic seed from invaders. Players explore a wild and open world, collect resources and engage in melee combat against enemies (tribes, giants, wizards, …). Players can use clubs, swords, hammers, and axes to attack enemies, whose bodies remain on the ground when killed.
