
We told you about it last month, XEL is about to go out nintendo-switch in this month of July, more precisely on the 14th, that is to say tomorrow. No excuse, if you are in France, not to take advantage of this holiday (since it’s too hot for the beach anyway…) ! Already available on computerthis Zelda-like in a sci-fi world is an indie game developed Tiny Roar and published by Assemble Entertainment. On the occasion of its release on Steam and GOG yesterday, the title offered a last trailer for its launch, allowing to admire its different environments and giving an overview of the powers of its heroine.
In XEL, you play Reid, a young woman who is stranded on an unknown and exotic planet. Accompanied by her side-kick Chap, Reid will have to use her power allowing her to jump through space and time in order to unveil the mysteries of the planet and discover the bond that unites her there. The title is intended to be freely inspired by Zelda seen from above, but with modernized combat combining attacks, dodges and parries used at the right time as well as the use of gadgets of all kinds. Everything is set to music by Gidon Wolffcomposer and sound designer on the game.
