EA has released a new trailer for FIFA 23 that spans over 7 minutes and gives us a closer look at match day, whether it’s the general atmosphere, the organization, or even the fans and their interactions with what’s happening on the pitch.
According to presentations producer Fab Muoio, the development team was able to take advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S hardware to make the stadium look as realistic as possible. 23 will also be pre-match cinematic clips, which will highlight scenes of fans arriving at the stadium, and footage of the stadium from outside using a drone.
For the first time in series history, goal nets in FIFA 23 will contain true 3D nets, compared to flat nets in FIFA 22 and before. This means that along with a more accurate appearance, the nets will now also interact with the ball and move in more realistic ways.
We finally learned that players can now equip their teams with custom sounds that play when a goal is scored, when the game releases on September 30th.
