- From Buena Vista, Colorado, travel south for 7 miles on Highway 285 to County Road 162. Turn right on CR 162 and travel west passing the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs resort (private) for 8 miles. The lake is located about .10 miles past the entrance to the campground.

- This is a wonderful lake for fishing with children. The shoreline is level and easy to walk around. It is routinely stocked with Rainbow Trout. Lures, salmon eggs and worms work best when fishing this lake.
