- Effective Nov. 1, 2025, the camping limit at Mittry Lake will change from 10 days per calendar year to 14 days within a 28-day period. This update aligns Mittry Lake with surrounding BLM-managed public lands and improves consistency in enforcement among the coordinating agencies. Starting then, visitors may camp up to 14 days within any 28-day period at Mittry Lake. After 14 days, campers must move to another site at least 25 miles away. All other recreation rules remain unchanged.
